WOOOOWWRRRR MY FRIENDS!!!  Today I have scaped from Komodo when nobody was seeing me.. to step on Bali Island! As soon as I have arrived I have seen all little village streets full of what is called “Penjor”, bamboos very nice decorated. All Bali seems as if I were inside a nice theater or even museum of tradition! All families prepare today their ceremonies for tomorrow, so don’t feel amazed if you see all Balinese wearing the traditional clothes..  Do you want to come to the real and authentic Bali? New Earthquake in Bali, 5,2º, Nusa Dua / Nuevo Terremoto en Bali, 5,2º, Nusa Dua

Ohh God! What a surprise! Today we have had to jump from the bed! We heard pum pum pum!!! It was a new earthquake, so we had to come out from the house quick quick!! But nothing happened.

Today at 22:59h in Bali a new Earthquake has been produced, also from the south of the island. There is NO danger of tsunami, after what the scientists have said.

Anyway good, in Bali such earthquakes do not happen frequently, so… quiet and relax, nothing happens 🙂

Ohh qué sorpresa! Hoy hemos tenido que saltar de la cama! Hemos escuchado pum pum pum! Era un nuevo terremoto, así que hemos tenido que salir de la casa. Pero no ha ocurrido nada.

Hoy a las 22:59h se ha producido un nuevo terremoto en Bali, también desde el sur de la Isla. NO hay peligro de tsunami, según dicen los expertos.

De todos modos, esta clase de terremotos es muy extraña en Bali, no pasa nada, así que tranquilos 🙂

TERREMOTO en Bali: Se ha producido a 10km al sur de Bali, 6,8º, bajo el mar pero SIN peligro de TSUNAMI. Personas y casas OK. Una mujer está hablando ahora en las noticias, estaba en su coche y pensaba que alguien lo estaba moviendo :)… Así que todos TRANQUILOS: Bali os está ESPERANDO!

Happy Idul Fitry.. but what is Idul Fitry?? / Feliz Día del Idul Fitry.. pero, ¿qué es el Idul Fitry??

The Eid al-Fitr (in Arab: عيد الفطر, in Persian: عید فطر, means Charity Banquet) is a religious festivity of the islamic tradition. It is the 3 first days of the Shawwal, and means the end of the Ramadhan. The previous night  to the first festivity day is also considered as auspicious. Very early in the morning, the community prays altogether and celebrates a breakfast which marks the end of the fast of the most important month for the moslim world.

The moslims celebrate this festivity using new clothes. The men use white clothes which symbolize purity. The whole day is celebrated by the believers visiting the homes and eating the special dishes cooked for this occassion. All sit down together. By tradition kids receive presents and sweets from their beloved relatives as a symbol of love. The way of wishing a happy festivity is saying the words:  Eid Mubarak!

Sunna

Sunna is the recommended requirements (which were part of the daily life of the profet Mahoma) which the moslims have to follow during this festivity. They are these 13 :

• Wear following the Sharia.
• Have a bath.
• Use miswaak.
• Wear the best clothes that they have.
• Use parfum.
• Get up before sunrise.
• Go as soon as possible to the place for the pray of Eid.
• Before going, they have to eat something sweet, as datils.
• Give the sadaqatul fitr before going.
• Pray the Eid where everyone does it, not at home except due to some extreme reasons.
• After praying they have to come back home through a different way from the daily one.
• They have to go by walking.
• Say on a soft way the Takbeer while they go to that place.

We remember from Indonature that almost all Indonesia is a quiet moslim country except some areas like Flores or Timor, etc, where the most are Catholic and Bali where the most are Hindu. Somehow in Indonesia all religions live together on a very quiet way and all of them understand well to each other, which should be something that we ALL should learn from…

El Eid al-Fitr (en árabe: عيد الفطر, en persa: عید فطر, significa Banquete de caridad) es una festividad religiosa de la tradición islámica. Abarca los tres primeros días del Shawwal, y significa el fin del Ramadán. La noche anterior al primer día de esta fiesta también se considera particularmente auspiciosa. Por la mañana temprano, la comunidad en conjunto realiza diferentes oraciones y celebra un desayuno que marca el fin del ayuno del mes más importante para el mundo musulmán.

Los musulmanes celebran esta fiesta estrenando ropa nueva. Los hombres usan vestimenta blanca, simbolizando pureza. El día entero es celebrado por los creyentes visitando los hogares y comiendo los platos especiales cocinados en esta ocasión. Todos se sientan juntos. Por tradición los niños reciben regalos, las gratificaciones y los dulces entregados por sus seres queridos como símbolo de amor. La forma de desear una feliz fiesta es pronunciando las palabras: ¡Eid Mubarak!

Se denomina sunna a los requisitos recomendados (formaban parte de la costumbre del profeta Mahoma) que los musulmanes deben cumplir durante esta celebración, son 13 y se enumeran a continuación:

• Vestirse según la Sharia.
• Bañarse.
• Usar miswaak.
• Vestir con lo mejor que se tenga.
• Perfumarse lo mejor posible.
• Despertarse a la madrugada.
• Ir lo más pronto posible al sitio donde se realice la plegaria del Eid.
• Antes de ir, se debe comer algo dulce, como dátiles.
• Dar el sadaqatul fitr antes de ir.
• Rezar la plegaria del Eid en donde todos lo hacen. Es decir, no se puede rezar en casa salvo causas extremas comprobadas.
• Luego de rezar, se debe volver a casa por un camino diferente al que se vuelve siempre.
• Para ir, hay que hacerlo caminando.
• Recitar suavemente el Takbeer mientras se dirigen al lugar.

Desde Indonature recordamos que casi toda Indonesia es un tranquilo país musulmán excepto en áreas como Flores o Timor, etc, donde la mayoría es Católica, y Bali, donde la mayoría es Hindú. De alguna forma en Indonesia todas las religiones conviven juntas de una forma muy tranquila y todos se comprenden entre todos muy bien, lo que debería ser algo de lo que TODOS pudiéramos aprender…

Some of our Travelers have contacted us to know more about the . You all who are going to be on tour with us in Sulawesi have to remain quiet, as the eruption gases don’t affect our tours on Tana Toraja area and flights are NOT being canceled to Makassar.

GUUAUUUUUURRRRR o Buenos días para quienes acabáis de madrugarrrrrrr!!

Algunos de nuestros Viajeros nos han estado contactando para saber más sobre la erupción del volcán en Indonesia. Todos quienes vais a venir de tour con nosotros por Sulawesi debéis estar tranquilos porque los gases de la erupción no afectan al área de Tana Toraja y los vuelos a Makassar NO están siendo cancelados.

Hoy, Grand Opening del ART FESTIVAL en Bali!

Guaurrrr hoy estoy sufriendo mucho porque en Bali, a una hora y 20 minutos de aquí en avión, se está celebrando la apertura del ART FESTIVAL en Bali.

Es una competición anual de arte, como baile, música de instrumentos “gong”, etc. que se viene realizando desde aproximadamente el año 1978.

No sólo Bali sino muchas otras regiones participan en el Art Festival de Bali, como Borneo, Sulawesi…
